Please plan to attend the membership luncheon on August 19th at Reata.  During the membership luncheon, the Board of Directors will present changes to the by-laws approval by the membership.  The most significant changes to the by-laws include increasing the number of Directors from 6 to 8, increasing the term limits for Directors, and allowing the Board to remove an Officer or Director for good cause.  Several other changes have been proposed to bring our by-laws into compliance with the Non-Profit Corporation Act and to more accurately reflect how the organization is run on a day-to-day basis.  All of the changes are posted on our website under the by-laws tab and have been posted in track changes so that you can easily identify the proposed changes.  I encourage you to take a few minute to review the changes.  If you have any questions about any of the changes, please do not hesitate to contact one of the Officers or Directors.
