The Membership Committee is accepting applications for the Eldon B. Mahon American Inn of Court. The Inn has three categories of memberships:
1. Masters are attorneys who have been licensed at least 15 years (licensed before 7/1/2005). The membership term is five years.
2. Barristers are attorneys who have been licensed between four and fifteen years (licensed between 7/1/2005 – 6/30/2016). The membership term is three years.
3. Associates are attorneys who have been licensed between one and four years (licensed between 7/1/2016 – 6/30/2019). The membership term is two years.
Additional requirements are on the nomination form. Each member is allowed no more than two missed meetings for the year. Among the many benefits of the Inn is mentorship, professionalism, ethics and exposure to local attorneys in many legal disciplines. Our membership has included some of the finest attorneys and judges at all levels. Over the course of a membership year each participant can earn up to 6 hours of CLE and participate in many national and international training events offered by the American Inns of Court. We support National Adoption Day, a local mock trial competition, as well as other community activities. We seek diversity in membership and areas of practice.
